2002 AU Convention

The 2002 AU Convention was hosted by the Denver Invitational Racing Pigeon Club. The convention was at the Sheraton West in Denver. The convention was well attended and everyone praised the accommodations, tours, and food. The Denver club did an excellent job hosting this convention. All six races were flown on Friday because of bad weather Thursday. The birds were in top form and the returns to all six lofts were good. You can view the official results on the AU Denver Convention web site. The high lite of the races had to be the Breeders Cup, where John Muggenberg won with an outstanding performance.

If you have never attended a national convention your really missing something. Make plans for 2003 to be hosted in Chicago.
