Our Janssens

        We have one of the most solid lofts of Janssen based birds found any where.    All our Merckx Janssens go back to Janssen brother's "Oude Merckx"  the greatest racing pigeon ever lived.  We have several cocks and hens closely bred down from the "Oude Merckx", including "Jose" grandson of the "019", and gr-grandsons of the "Jonge Merckx".  These birds are our Middle to Lond Distance Birds.

95 NL 2562125, "Jose Paniagua", named after Seattle Mariners pitcher Jose Paniagua.  "Jose" is one of our "Merckx Janssens"and was imported for us from Simon's Lofts in Holland.  He is a grandson of the "019" and a gr-grandson of the "Jonge Merckx", two of the greatest Janssen Brothers breeders ever lived.  "Jose" was Champion Bird-Young Birds out of over 10,000 birds and during his racing carrier scored over 38 top prizes.  As a breeder for us in his first year has already bred us a concourse winner.   2002, at the AU Denver Convention Race, Jose and Princess Leia bred 2 of our 3 bird 4th place "Breeders Cup" team.  2003 Jose bred the only "Day Bird" at the "World Trade Center Race", winning $53,000.  2004 Jose bred 8th out of only 29 "Day Birds" at the 2004 Spirit of Colorado One Loft Race.
AU 96 SMCC 816, "Kaleidoscope", This super Janssen cock was giving to Linda at Detroit by his breeder, Dick Newman.  "Kaleidoscope" is a grandson of Mike Ganus' "Continental Class", which of course is pure "Merckx Janssen".  In 2001 Kaleidoscope, paired with "7723", one of our "Patriot" daughters bred us 1024, "Motown Missile", three club wins, two concourse wins, a second and a fifth.  Champion bird club & concourse out of over a thousand birds.  10th North American Ace Pigeon,  Washington State "Hall of Fame" bird, and AU "Hall of Fame" runner up.  In 2002 He bred a second Concourse Winner in her first ever race flown. 
AU 01 REDROSE 1024, Well here he is, out of over 1000 birds, 2001 Evergreen Concourse Champion Bird "Motown Missile",  With a flying record of 3 first's, 1 second, and 1 fifth club, and 2 firsts and a 11th concourse.  At the annual NOSO/STILLY Show Motown Missile won his class, Young Cocks Flown.  Racing Pigeon Digest 10th North American Ace Pigeon, Sprint.  Washington State "Hall of Fame", And AU "Hall of Fame" runner up.  "Motown Missile" is a son of 816 "Kaleidoscope" and "Patriot" daughter 7723.

Super breeder, one of our best Janssens, decendent of "019" Janssen blood. In 2002 bred 5th and 9th champion birds Evergreen Concourse out of over 1800 birds, 7th Highlander and 10th Lou McElroy. In 2003 OB bred 1st club, and 1st Concourse . Graded "My Choice" by Jack Barkel.
NEHU 96 TEE 13039, "Vikki" came to us from England's "Mighty Up North Combine".  The largest combine in the world, where weekly races are 20 to 25 thousand birds.  "Vikki",  a half sister to the Tommy Cock, from a mating of his sire to a top breeding hen, which is, Dam, G.Dam and G.G.Dam to numerous Club and Fed winners. Vikki’s paternal Grandsire is The R.S.P.C.A. Cock, a champion breeder. Her maternal G.Dam is The Beverdam Hen, which was Dam, G.Dam and G.G.Dam to countless Club and Fed winners. Her paternal Grandsire is a grandson of Gust Hofkens world famous stock cock The Driebander Vikki has bred at least 2 winners, one 1st Fed plus a 2nd Fed winner.against 6000 plus pigeons.
GB 93 S 66846, "Foo Fighter", came to us from McLaughlin Lofts where frank imported him from John Yates of England.  "Foo Fighter" was John's #1 Racer and has been Frank's #196 TEE 13039- a half sister to the Tommy Cock, from a mating of his sire to a top breeding hen, which is, Dam, G.Dam and G.G.Dam to numerous Club and Fed winners.  Racing in England "Foo Fighter" was 4 times 1st in club, 1st Fed vs 2,176 B, 2nd Fed vs 2,843 B, 2nd Fed vs 2,205 B, and 3 X 6th Fed vs over 2,000 B.  "Foo Fighter" is sire and grand sire to many Winners. 
AU 99 EVERETT 2181, "2181" is pure "Merckx Janssen".  Her sire is a cock imported from Belgium by Bill, Roberts.  And her dam is one of Bill's foundation Merckx Janssen hens.  "2181" is the dam to our "World Trade Center Memorial Race" "Day Bird".
AU 00 DI 1532, "Alice", named after her breeder, "Crazy Al".  "Alice" is pure Norbert Norman at it's best.  "Alice's" pedigree is filled with race winners.  1st Spirit of Colorado, 1999 San Diego Classic Winner, 1997 San Diego Classic Winner, 8th Snowbird Classic 1997, and 31st South African Million Dollar Race.  Breeding for us in only one year she bred 1st bird home NCI One Loft race, 3rd Lou McElroy,  9th Colorado Gold rush, and 23rd out of only 26 day birds in the Highlander Classic, and 1st 200 mile Beijing Classic, China, out of over 1500 birds.  This is the breeder everyone dream of owning.
