I have the Race Diploma for AU 02 REDROSE 1240 which won a race for me last year just two weeks prior to the Futurity.  I will post it to you via snail mail for your personal records.  I must admit that I've handled a lot of birds and won a lot of races, but the two birds you sent to me last year were with out question the finest two specimens I've ever worked with.  I write this simply to compliment you, not for personal gain.

From Cyndi Gregory, TX.

Thank you for the pigeon you donated for the Texas Center Winter Race.  This pigeon was the top selling pigeon that went for $500.  I happen to be the winner.

From Terry Brooks, .

Steve, are you interested in selling the parents to bird REDROSE 1424-03 and
1402?  I purchased these bird as a young bird from you.  Number 1402 won a
concourse race at 150 miles.  I had 10 birds on the drop and 1402 was the
1st bird to clock.

From Everett & Renee Kennedy, VA.

Just thought I'd drop you a quick note.
AU 03 MAC 3239, a yearling off of the pair of Bekaerts we bought from you
last year just took 2nd place in our club "B" race this week end, distance
of 470 miles.

Again!  Jim

From Terry Brooks,

Steve, I raised several birds out of the birds I purchased from you last
year as young birds.  I raised 3 birds out of  one of  the young hens cross
on a bird I raised out of 2 birds from Charlie Barberia.  Those 3 birds were
in the top 6 birds I had on the drop that won the concourse this past
weekend.   Thank You, Terry

Hi Linda,
We had a 150 miler today.  My first bird home was at 2:35PM. It was a tough race for most. My birds did well for me again this week as they
had done last week. I had 6 home in 25 minutes when some flyers only had one or none. My  first bird was 2nd club and my next 3, all came home together, were the  5th, 6th, and 7th birds in the club.  My first bird is a Hofken youngster off of AU 01 NCI 2329 Blue Bar hen. you had sent out to for the LeHigh Mountain combine auction that my friend bought and than gave to me.   My second bird is another Hofken youngsters off of AU 02 RED ROSE 1379
Pencil Blue cock;  one of the youngster you sent out to me.

Steve i received the five birds this morning.  They look to be in great shape.  I will let you know how they progress later.  I appreciate your professional documents that accompanied the birds.  I am sure this will help in doing business with you again.

From Mike Bamrick,  New Jersey

I still have a few of the birds from the kit that I got from you guys. I clocked AU-04-RedRose1759 today in a 300 mile race. It was a fast race with this hen
flying 276.180 miles in 4 hours 11 minutes 39 seconds.  Her speed was 1931.559 YPM!!!!!!!! She got second place and I am so proud of her for holding on and not wrecking with this wicked tail wind that they were flying with.  I think she should place fairly high in the Central Jersey Combine.

From Perry Estes, ID.

Steve,
Received both birds, they look great, I have them in a separate breeding pen.  Both have already taken drinks.  The hen hadn't laid an egg in the box.  I love the birds I get from you guys.
Thanks again,
Perry

IF-06-LCM-206 which placed 15th out of some 3500 birds was bred out of RedRose stock. These birds seem to do well out here. The sire of this bird placed 4th club and 28th combine out of 2714 birds last year in old birds. If I only had more experience in old birds, I can only imagine what this stock would do. Ok I am down off my box. I just had to crow a bit after getting 1,2,3, and 6th club. Cheers Mike

Dear Steve, I wanted to let you know the results of a little hen I bred out of the 04/ Red Rose 2010 bird I purchased from you. It has been quite a transition flying here in the country rather than in the City of Chicago where I came from. she has been amazing this year; I only fly The natural system around a bunch of folks who fly the darkening system. She has placed third and fourth in the club races and a third in the combine, I have shipped the poor little thing every week now, including this past weekend when the weather was just awful & no pigeon should’ve been flying. (Bad liberation decision) and she was still my second bird home. I just wanted you to know how pleased I am of 2010 for showing what his genes are capable of.

Thanks again!

From Loren Lukens

Hi Steve,
I thought you might be interested in knowing that an offspring (06 HANG 996) out of Redrose 2152 and Redrose 2362 is currently leading in the champion bird category.  He has two back to back wins.  His last race he flew a brutal 300 miles at 1138.956 YPM.  What is interesting is that he won by 2 hours!.  What a bird!  My dilemma is weather to send him to the 450 mile race this weekend.  I might add that a sister to 996 is flying quite steady.  Our Combine fly's east over the Sierras and all the way to Idaho.  It is tough as it gets.  Your birds are doing well.
Take care, and great flying.
Loren
