Our Van Reets

With out a doubt, the fasted sprint birds in the world are the Van Reets. And with out a doubt the best stud of Champion Van Reet breeders are those of Dean Pallat, of England.. In 2000 Steve got his first four Van Reets and they helped him and Linda to take 2nd Champion loft, young birds in 2000. In 2001 our Van Reets have done even better, earning many diplomas, both club and concourse. In one race alone Red Rose Lofts took the first 6 places in the concourse and 4 of the 6 birds were our "Van Reets". The Van Reets have flown so well for us we now have just added a daughter of "Leyton Express", a son of "Good news", and another son of "Leyton Express". Plus stocking several of our Van Reet children.

And as of 2004 Champion Leyton Express, the Greatest Van Reet Cock to ever come to America, is now at home and breeding here at Red Rose Lofts.

	AU 00 MCLOFTS 813, "F-8", so named after the Navy's air to air killing machine, the F-8 Crusader. "F-8" is a son of Frank's champion "Leyton Express" and just like his dad is a real night mare. He is so full of fight and vitality he spends all day "Ruling the roost". Like his dad he will take all twelve next boxes and defend them all. But this is the character that makes the Van Reets winners. It's their no nonsense take no prisoners way of racing. You open the crate and they're gone, no circling, just gone. And "F-8" breeds the best, including a money winner at the AU Denver Convention Race.
	AU 99 MCLOFTS 265, son of Frank's "Red Tide" "265" is a super handling mealy cock that is just brimming with muscle. "265" is one of our best Van Reet breeders and has bred winners with every hen he has been with.
	*AU 00 MCLOFTS 47, super son of Frank's "Brian". "Brian" has been one of Frank's best Van Reet breeders and 47 has bred well for us also.*
	*AU 01 MCLOFTS 1668, son of Franks "Good news". This is our first year breeding from 1668.*
	*AU 00 MCLOFTS 814, Daughter of Frank's "Leyton Express" and nest mate sister of "F-8".*
	AU 99 MCLOFTS 228, Super daughter of "The End", one of the best Van Reet breeders in America. Like 265, "228" has bred winners with every cock she has been with. This season she was paired with "F-8", what a combination.
	AU 97 PLY 2399, Daughter of Frank's "604". With out a doubt not only one of the best Van Reet hens in our loft but one of the best breeding hens we have, period! Last year "2399" bred us 3rd and 8th Champion Birds. This year "2399's" children have been at the top of the race sheet in every race entered, club, concourse, and futurity. She is that champion breeder everyone dreams for.
	*AU 99 MCLOFTS 57, daughter of Frank's "Lazar". "57" also has been a good breeder for us.*
	AU 01 REDROSE 1043, bred by us and put to stock. "1043" is a daughter of "265" and "57".
	AU 00 MCLOFTS 634, "RR Merlin", son of franks super Champion "Leyton Express". "RR" our newest addition to our Van Reet family just came to us 2-1-03. He is named after the superb WWII fighter engine, the "Rolls Royce/Merlin".
	*AU 01 NCI 3308, "Geronimo", bred by us and one of our top racers. "Geronimo" is a son of "47" and "228".*
